Laughable Development of an OC, 2014-2021
This is my OC who I always use as my main ‘model’ for drawing and sketching when I don't feel like I'm terrible at it, and I wanted to see if NAID can picture her the same way I do, and still do. Nailed it.
She was supposed to be a female version of a male OC that was dominant theoughout 2013, but as time passed, she became my favourite because of her unfinished but serious-tone backstory that I changed over the years, ...and then she replaced other OCs I had from 2009 to 2014.
As much as I can write here, she’s a Type-B Cephorius (cephori, in plural), which is a custom species I made based on a real caracal and a red fox. In their society, the difference between a Type-A and a Type-B is that B can communicate verbally and telepathically and have slit eyes with fewer colours (like regular household cats) while A are more natural, with round eyes... and with none of that telepathic business.
Cephori usually have ears with black trimming surrounding the sides, with the tip of the ear usually having a bit of black tone, which can genetically extend and take up slightly more than half of ear base, like one of her ears. Their ears also have tufts, like caracals do, that can be long or short, depending on their genetics and hormones for hair growth.
If you look at them realistically, their ear canals would be where human ear canals are, so those big floppable ears would have to be lower and 'hug the head' more. They also, realistically, have 4 toes, but you can choose between 3 and 4 toes when you draw or generate an image of them, like how cartoons have 4 fingers instead of 5. Also, darker-skinned cephori are actually a slight tone of purple (or blurple, I guess), so there's that...
She’s canonically 16, so don’t do anything weird with her unless you age her up. She likes agriculture and is very shy and careful around people because of bad things that happened in her childhood.
