Refers to animated imagery generated from a piece of music in real time, usually in the form of a series of pixelated bars (e.g. Danbooru post #6141816) or series of straight bars with fluctuating heights (Danbooru post #1718355). Commonly seen in concerts featuring electronic music or in mixing consoles.
