Blue, known as Green (グリーン) in Japan, is a character introduced in Pokémon Red and Green.

This highly skilled, powerhouse Trainer prominent in Kanto is the grandson of the famous Professor Oak. Red is both his lifelong rival and his best friend (official bio).

In his original appearance, he has black eyes and short spiky brown hair including bangs. He wears a long long-sleeve purple shirt, a necklace, and grey pants tucked into brown boots with boot straps.

Other appearances

Pokémon FRLG: Blue's appearance changes; he has brown eyes and orange hair. He wears a black short-sleeve polo shirt with a popped collar, wristbands, a grey pack, purple pants, and black shoes.

Pokémon HGSS: Blue is slightly older, taller, and more mature-looking. He wears a white shirt under a grey leather jacket with two breast pockets, a black belt with a metal buckle, and brown pants.

Pokémon SM: Blue's bangs lengthen and he wears a new outfit, which consists of a pair of sunglasses, a grey short-sleeved shirt with buttons, green capri pants, green shoes, and a grey backpack.

Pokémon LGPE: Blue's appearance is almost identical to his original appearance, simply sporting a new black backpack.
