Sequel to Final Fantasy X and first direct sequel to any entry in the Final Fantasy series by Square Enix. Released on the Sony PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2003 and elsewhere in 2004. Most characters from FFX reprise their roles in FFX-2, so many character entries overlap for both games.
