Giselle Gewelle (ジゼル・ジュエル) is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation "Z - The Zombie," which gives her the ability to zombify anyone who comes in contact with her blood.
Despite acting in a ditzy manner, in reality Giselle is cruel and extremely sadistic, as shown by the way she treats Bambietta Basterbine after zombifying her.
Implied (and later confirmed by Kubo Tite) to be biologically male, despite clearly identifying as female. This makes Giselle the first transgender character to appear in the Bleach franchise.
