The 6th batch of VTubers from hololive, dubbed as "holoX" (pronounced "holoks"). Their theme is a secret organization. To fit with the "secrecy" theme, Cover co. announced the group's existence only 9 hours before the first member, La+ Darknesss, debuted on 26 November 2021.
Also worth noting is that unlike hololive Fantasy (3rd gen) and holoForce (4th gen), holoX marks the first time since hololive Gamers that a hololive JP talent group starts out with a name of their own, a tradition normally associated only with hololive English.
