The first film, Predator, follows an elite special forces team, led by Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger), on a mission to rescue hostages from guerrillas in Central America. Unbeknownst to the group, they begin to be hunted by a technologically advanced form of extraterrestrial life, the Predator.
Three more sequels were produced, called Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010) and The Predator (2018) respectively. A prequel set before the previous movies, titled Prey, was released in 2022.
