Azur Lane's personification of the lead ship and name ship of what could have been the Soviet Union's largest battleship class.
Her name (Советский Союз) literally means the Soviet Union. The class was meant to challenge the Yamato-class and Montana-class in sheer weight but paled in comparison to them in terms of armor and armament. Historically laid down in 1938 and partially constructed, work was essentially stopped with the German invasion and never resumed, ultimately being scrapped by the end of the 1940s.
While she has made appearances as the implied leader of the Northern Parliament or Russian faction, she has not been made playable while two of her sisters were.
