The eighth mothership title in Namco's Tales Series. Devolped by Team Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss follows the story of the young, secluded noble, Luke fon Fabre, on a journey of political and religious intrigue that changes his attitude about himself and other people for the better. It was released in Japan on the Playstation 2 on December 15, 2005, and in North America on October 10, 2006.
Recently received a straight Nintendo 3DS port in Japan on June 30, 2011, and was released for the first time in Europe on November 24, 2011. The North American version of the 3DS port was later released on Feburary 14, 2012.
