Alexandre de Moraes, PhD. (b. December 13th, 1968)

Minister of the Federal Supreme Court of the Federative Republic of Brazil, legal scholar, and former Minister of Justice. Known for his significant role in overseeing investigations into anti-democratic actions, as well as leading major decisions regarding free speech, fake news, and the protection of democratic institutions in Brazil. It was responsible for the court order that banned twitter in brazil through late August - early October 2024
