connect (magia record)

Not to be confused with Connect (Madoka Magica)

A mechanic in Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Gaiden, in which Magical Girls borrow each other's power to attack.

In the game, a few floating runes appear. This version does not necessitate any particular closeness.
In the anime, the recipients typically hold hands or otherwise bring them together, as a symbol consisting of four circles with a shared center and rhombuses in all cardinal directions appears (see here). Additionally, their weapons combine into one.
