lalah sune
A fictional female character from the Gundam series. She first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam from 1979.
Lalah Sune is Char Aznable's subordinate and Amuro Ray's initial love interest. She has a bindi and was born in India.
Lalah worked in an Indian brothel in her youth, but was rescued by Char Aznable to whom she is fiercely loyal and forever in debt. She later becomes a very dangerous newtype Zeon ace pilot in her own right. Her mecha of choice Is the Elmeth.
Lalah tragically dies during a pivotal space battle, accidentaly killed by an unwilling Amuro while defending her savior and protector Char. This event would haunt both Amuro and Char for the rest of their lives.
In the SD Gundam skits, she is shown having the business end of a beam saber for a bindi.
