lion tamer

The original version of Chris Jericho's Walls of Jericho signature move.

Truly the more painful and more brutal version of the Walls of Jericho, this is also a higher-angle boston crab but with the addition of the wrestler using a single knee to add additional pressure by pressing it into the opponent's back or on the back of the opponent's neck.
Chris Jericho rarely uses the Liontamer anymore because it is very difficult to perform on larger opponents and the legit danger this move may cause if applied incorrectly.

WWE NXT wrestler Roderick Strong also uses this submission hold which he calls the Strong Hold. This version focuses more on the lower back of the opponent, which fits to his "Messiah of the Backbreaker" nickname.
