Martin is a 'Bionic', a sentient war machine developed by the ARU. Martin is a Bionic based on a polar bear, though the anatomy proportions are modified for bipedal movements. During the event of 'Firn Night', Martin together with Nanami played a key role in securing the victory for the ARU and Babylonia forces.
Though his name is Martin, Nanami addresses him with a wide variety of names such as and not limited to: Matty, Martini, Morley, Morty.
