American football team, based out of Santa Clara, California and playing in the National Football League. The team was originally established in 1946 as a member of the All-American Football Conference, before joining the NFL in 1949 following the folding of the AAFC.

Five time Super Bowl champion, with their last win coming in Super Bowl XXIX in 1995.
