very strange approvals and rejects

Posted under General

1) an image that looks substandard at first glance (anatomy) is applied 2 times. just in case, I will clarify that it was uploaded by a user with the "Builder" level. below I will attach a link to a screenshot with a detailed description of what exactly is wrong with the anatomy, because one of the appruvers considers it normal, for some reason. original image here post #96160 my explanation here https://tinypic.host/image/Screenshot-3.2IQ3eZ

2) an image with an obviously poor perspective and anatomy (impossibly long body/bad perspective post #95940 and a huge head/bad perspective post #95947) does not raise questions (both pictures are uploaded by approvers, by the way) and my rear-view image (post #95736) has not been able to pass verification for like 4 days, because of the damn knee XD. the funny thing is that the anatomy in my image is just right, because the knee is bent and the skin is stretched (or how to explain it, I do not know, sorry, English is not my native language) :)

why was this topic created? I want to understand why overtly defective images (uploaded, by the way, by approvers) are approved and my reports describing specific problems are rejected. Yes, indeed, the concept of "quality" is subjective, but the concept of "anatomy" cannot be subjective. Thanks for reading it.

I understand where you are coming from, but the approvers role isn't to only approve anything that is atomically correct, it's to approve what they like so it comes down to the approvers preference. If a gen is interesting or of something they like then it will more likely be approved regardless of anatomy/mistakes (to a certain extent). Where as on the other hand, while people can appreciate good anatomy if it's of something they aren't interested in or in a generic style it's not guaranteed to be approved. (Not referring to your image when I say that, I think the pose/angle is unique).

I'm not an approver so I can't really give any more insight than that, you have to remember they're looking at a bunch of images everyday so if yours doesn't catch their eye don't let it get to you.

in my topic we are talking more about defective images of others, which were approved and the complaint was rejected, than about my images. of course, approvers can like bad images from the point of view of anatomy, but does it mean that they can still approve it? it is simply destructive for the community, at this rate slowly but surely this wonderful site will turn into rule34 (no ad). and it is still not clear, if what I described above works, how to understand what can be uploaded and what should not? I do not want my account to be drowned in deleted posts (on principle), so I am trying to find some logic, but it is, unfortunately, barely perceptible... anyway, thanks for the detailed answer

I can't see the problem with post #96160.

If you think the images should be deleted, then flag them and state the reason for flagging in the prompt.
I appealed some of your deleted posts.

Have you looked at the screenshot that is available via the link in my first message?

Oh you're right. I don't agree about the other examples though. You can provide similar screenshots for those if you want.
Well, you can go ahead and flag if you want. I never flag.

i flagged it once (picture with screenshot), but it didn't work. if the user who rejected the report is confident in their knowledge of anatomy, i'm ready to accept it and just stop wasting time flagging such content :) anyway, i still want to get answers to the questions from my first message

You can only flag a post once so you should probably give up.
If you insist, you can try discussing it in the discord server, which is more active.

considering that I have to use a translator, I'll probably try to do it only here :) but thanks anyway

even though the knee is bent, the skin will not look like that. It looks like it is in two pieces and not just bent.

ok, what about the last paragraph of my first post?

You should approve anything you think is good quality. A good rule of thumb is to approve things you would upload yourself.

If approver thinks that the anatomy looks "good enough" then nothing prevents them from approving it. The same applies to posts made by the approvers themselves. If you think something looks too bad to be approved, you can flag it.

You made 160+ posts, only 6 were deleted, and most of them actually have problems. I don't understand what you're trying to achieve. Not everyone is an expert in anatomy. And neither are you.

btw, one of the reasons why i don't want to approve your posts is your huge watermark. It's annoying. And useless.

oh, and please, stop using your patreon page as a source link. either use a link to a specific post or leave your patreon in the artist commentary

thanks, but i didn't focus on my works in this thread, i was just trying to understand why bad works are re-approved. now the gist is clear

it's simple.

approver likes the post = it gets approved
approver doesn't like the post = it gets disapproved
