As for your uploads, no offense intended, but certain extreme fetishes are less likely to be approved than the more "standard" or "vanilla" stuff, because niche things will always appeal to a smaller specific section of the userbase. Things like bestiality, interspecies, guro, explicit furry are generally blacklisted by the general public

In this screenshot (asset #560522) you can see the top 50 blacklisted tags in Danbooru as of September 2024, it was shared a while ago in the Discord server of Danbooru and made by the site owner. While the same stats do not apply to AIBooru, it can give you a gist. As you can see, the top 3 most blacklisted tags by Danbooru users are yaoi, futanari and male focus

But it is not impossible to get the things you are a fan of approved, even if they are niche or extreme. It is just much less likely, blacklists considered

Perform a search like this to see past works with a given tag that have been approved by any approver; for example furry rated 'explicit':
furry rating:e approver:any (509 hits at the time)

Or for example, let's check male focus (of any rating) that has been taken by any approver:
male_focus approver:any (1349 hits at the time)

Some approvers rarely take in things that is covered by their blacklist. And there is nothing wrong with that, they cannot be forced to accept things they dislike. Just like some people do not eat the food they dislike, or the music they dislike, etc. Blacklisting gives every user a choice to curate their own experience with the site, including approvers

But fortunately, the site runs with more than 1 approver, which guarantees that there is an "encompassing" perspective for different or varied topics, each one with its tastes. As long as your niche is not against the rules and is of acceptable quality, it will have a chance if the right approver sees it

Hi! I wanted to ask about something quickly.

Several of my recent posts were disapproved at the same time by the same user it seems (post #143231, post #143236, post #143237, post #143238, post #143234). I understand there can be some bias around foot-focused content even if it’s allowed, but these specific uploads were just normal scenes.

Could you please let me know what the actual issue was? I just want to understand what to fix so I don’t repeat the same mistake.

I don't know what's your basis on "by the same user". Either way, please wait until an image is deleted before asking for feedback, since all of these images still have 2 days for some other approver to possible approve these.

Besides the main point, I looked at the first image and provided feedback in the rejection slot.

This image was only upscaled once..., and it's not like I can control how much it upscales, and once it has been upscaled, it can't be upscaled any further.

Also, upscaling should enhance the details, not destroy them. I'm not sure we are looking at the same image

yeah this is what I thought, but I don't think that's ok if something is good, but isn't approved just because they don't like it.
An approver should be impartial in my opinion and approve good images whether they like it or not so different form e6ai where janitors (approvers) are.

@ApprenticeDomini Posts that are more than 1 month old automatically wipe out the number of disapprovals (and their reasons if any). You can also check the moderation history of a post that is about 3 months old and see nothing, while probably back on the day it received some checks. The only moderation history that are always recorded are approvals, appeals and flags. Disapprovals expire over time

@Rozul "Disinterest" is the default rejection reason; the others are "Poor quality" and "Breaks rules" and have to be manually selected
"Disinterest" means that none of the approvers who checked it liked it enough to approve it; or that it was not good enough to pass, but at the same time not bad enough to be considered low quality

@Rozul If a picture "does not click" or has some issues not egregious enough to give out a "Poor quality", you go with "Disinterest" and let the other approvers have a check. By the way, it is way better to have "Disinterest" in the disapprovals than "Poor quality"; if you consistently meet "Poor quality" you are probably doing something wrong

As a "test" on whether it is finished or not I was thinking you could try to set the piece as a background (this one has a resolution that seems to be designed for a backgorund). If you see anomalies within 5min, then it needs improvement. Or would it be fair to see an image with inconsistencies as your desktop background for months or weeks?

Also, if it is your gen, you have to tag it self-upload too

I think the "extra pair of breasts" you're implying looks like bouncing breasts. I see the body shaking up and down which from my perspective looks like she's bouncing than another pair of breasts. Like if a dog's tail is wagging but may look like an extra tail. I could be wrong.

Out of around 40 of my uploads that people are having high engagement with on other platforms, 30 of them have been deleted here despite many approvers seeing them. Imo the moderation around here is just pretty brutal, don't let it dishearten you. How stuff that has people favoriting it around here gets deleted is beyond me and the upload limits are ridiculous for someone who only plans to post 4 images daily. The standards around here are stupidly high especially when the majority of the userbase is just here to fap.

Unfortunately the current approvers do not enjoy western art style as much as the anime style, which I would expect be the main reason why a lot of your images would be marked as Disinterest rather than Poor Quality. However, looking through the posts, there are some obvious errors such as an extra finger on post #149817 for example.

Only one approver saw the image so there is a chance it could get approved if appealed at a better time (or if an approver reads this thread), but minor errors to point out: Ears, slightly smudgy eyes, broken necklace & broken clitoris.

So I just had one of my posts deleted for being "low quality." The thing is, I've seen images of much worse quality get approved. I posted 15 of my highest quality images, and currently 14 of them are sitting in limbo waiting for approval, even though several of them have been waiting for almost 3 days now. I don't understand your approval process at all. You claim it's to ensure quality, but from everything I see, it's just a big clique where an "elite" group of people choose what they like, while everyone else just gets buried. I have at present over 26,000 AI images that I have generated that I would love to share with the community, but due to the moderation policy I am currently being silenced, and am likely going to be forced to post somewhere else. This site is dying, and it is all because of the upload policy. This should be a site for the people. If people are liking images, then they should stay. The image that I had deleted for being "low quality" was liked by two people not including myself. It was disliked by one, likely the person who took it down, but I have no proof of that since both the person who disliked the image and the person who deleted the image are hidden. The fact that one person can delete an image because they don't like it, even though two other people liked it enough to upvote it is crazy to me. The whole system is the very definition of a clique where only the in group gets to decided what stays and who gets to join the in group. This is the same kind of system that led to #OscarsSoWhite back in 2016. I really want to see the aihentai community grow, but the way this place is being run currently, I'm worried that this place is going to die. And there sadly aren't any other boorus for aihentai that I can find. I could link a discord I've made to any moderators that want to see what I could bring to the table if I was just given a fair shake at this. I hope I'll be able to stay and post here, but I am very worried I'll be forced to leave and find a more accepting home that isn't so cliquey.

I have no idea what you are talking about. These are all very minor things. It's like you are going over it with a fine tooth comb. If those are the kind of impossibly high standards you have no wonder the site only has 150k images. I could make than myself in less than a year. And my images aren't insanely boring like most of the stuff on here. I'd love to contribute to the ai hentai community, but you mods are really gatekeeping it. I'm really thinking of making my own aibooru, with black jack, and hookers, and other interesting things going on in the picture, and not just super boring images with no detail.

like school, it is a process that takes about 1 year, cannot learn full course in just 1 day, need give it more time

hard as it may be to fix bad hands, some artists actually do put the effort to fix it, thus producing images without noticeable flaws, to the point u might question if it was ai or not

if love truly compels you, continue posting but study, see what gets taken
and what gets filtered
(and yes, it is possible to get futanari approved)
and think 'why some images work, and others do not work'
with that said, it is unfortunate ur 1st experience was getting a manual deletion, but u can bounce back

but to improve, u need to know nobody here is at war with u by default
if u keep thinking about complaints, cannot focus on improve, so always stay newbie...
but notice the pr0, he never complain, always focus on play better...

Along with this the models and programs have been getting better over time to the point where these errors really shouldn't exist.

I don't believe anyone here wants to gatekeep you from posting, I can see you've done a decent job tagging your posts as well which everyone here would appreciate. Personally while I'm not a fan of futa I would like nothing more than to see you improve your generations and get approved. With that in mind if you want any tips on how to improve your generations feel free to join the discord group and ask some questions, another method I'd recommend is searching "has:metadata" to see all posts with generation metatdata then finding ones you like and seeing how they were generated.

And when every single one of my posts is deleted it makes it simply discourages me from continuing to post here. I have looked at what gets approved, and what doesn't, and I see no consistency with it. It seems extremely arbitrary to me. I've seen some really high quality works not get approved simply because only one approver ever even looked at it. You say I need more time, but with my post limit just going down constantly with no images getting approved, that isn't even possible. I like many people before me will likely have to find another home to post our works, one that actually appreciates AI hentai. You say you aren't at war with me, but I feel very much personally attacked by the staff here.

I appreciate the thoughtful response. I didn't even know you guys had a discord, and still have no idea how to find it. And I appreciate your compliments on my tagging. I put a good amount of work into that. I mean sure I used an AI autotagger, but I had to manually adjust it to fit your format since they all give tags in a comma separated list, and your system doesn't like that format. It's a minor annoyance, but still one that is extra painful when my images don't even get approved. I feel like I did all that work for nothing. I am working on improving my work, but I don't feel like I'm going to continue posting here. The way you guys treat new users here is way too harsh. Not you personally, but both Lyren and Iroshi before you, as well as whoever it was that manually deleted one of my posts, have been far to harsh with me for me to be comfortable continuing to post here. The fact that an actual admin like Lyren would be so toxic really rubs me the wrong way. I will most likely be making a local booru on my machine for just me, and maybe will try and make a second AIbooru to compete with this site, one that doesn't have quite as high of standards, and that instead actually has booru quantity. 150k images is barely a booru if you ask me. This site focuses too might on quality at the expense of quantity. Gelbooru has nearly 13M images! You guys have barely 150k images. That's like 1% of what they have.

Our moderation queue standards are actually more lenient compared to Danbooru, from where most of the core community comes from, so people are used to high standards. You mentioned making a new booru, which is fair no-one's stopping you, we actually already had a few people make a copy already, but actually for exact opposite reason: They wanted to raise the standards.

Gelbooru's first image was from July 2007, first AIBooru image was October 2022. That is one major factor to why the difference is so large. If we had the booru as long with our current pace, we would have over 900k posts. Still not even nearly as much, but as you mentioned, the focus is on quantity over quality here.

That isn't a terrible idea. But I'm pretty much done with the idea of posting here. I do plan to improve my quality, but not so I can post here, but rather so I can post on my own site. I'll get better out spite, and make a booru that puts this place to shame. If you don't appreciate me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best.

Hi, I started posting here a couple of days ago, and the majority of my posts have been approved, but I had two that haven't yet, and we're approaching the third day. I would appreciate it if an approver could take a look at them, and ideally sign off on them (or not, I guess idk 🤷‍♂️)

i took a cursory look, it seems ok; besides there is a story, it is more effort than an average post

but keep in mind that having 0 deletions in the long run is exceedingly rare,
even users with approver-rank have some deleted posts
just do not sweat it, learn at your pace, test the waters, and keep cooking good dishes like you done so far

in a case like this, for next time, u should use the Image Replacement Request Thread (topic #172)
if u upload by accident a wrong version, instead of posting the right version, u upload (not post) the right version to media assets (do not click 'post'), and then request that asset to replace the wrong post in the forum thread

a similar situation to what happened in forum #4235

help me improve, disapprove (disinterest) doesn't tell me much other than that maybe the approvers tought it was boring.
i noticed an issue where one of the studs on the bench is misaligned, but might be other artefacts that are more visible to the approvers who are way more used to QC-ing images than me.
or do i just shitpost too hard with my filenames? :^)

unfortunately it had fingers issues, especially on left side hand, pinky seems detached and index finger is melted
others in the set also had fingers problems but were less grave, also taking into account that there is a story so the effort is above average

by the way, i recommend you instead use a series pool in your posts instead of parent-child relationship; pools show all posts, even deleted ones, so users interested would be able to see the whole story

well i would take it, if not hit my blacklist; i think it could pass on appeal, it receive only 2/12 checks, which is low

I saw that in post #155061 an approver wrote something about the lips and hip-torso, what does the bit about the hips mean at least? (From what I could see, the lip issue might be because they're thick, but I don't know if it makes much difference.)

torso seems too slim to realistically be able to support the comparably wider legs
torsos are naturally slightly slimmer than the hips&thighs, but the presented proportion looks off for me
however, not all the thing visible are real

well, 2nd one was likely given out 1 'poor quality' due to hand/finger issues; zoom to see the thumb, at the root it looks ok, but then it extends and 'curls beyond' as if it was an index finger

as for the 1st one, things are more hopeful, because it is better to get a deletion that only has 'disinterest' than 1 or more 'poor quality'; but please also note that getting 0 deletions overall is a very rare feat, so u should not anxiety urself for that
