minazuki (kancolle)

水無月 水無月(艦隊これくしょん) 水無月(艦これ)

The sixth ship of the Mutsuki-class destroyers in Kantai Collection.

Visually, she has shoulder length asymmetrical blue hair along with blue eyes. She wears a dark blue serafuku, consisting of a blue blouse, blue shorts with frills, kneehighs and a blue necktie (always tied improperly,) with a crescent pin attached. Her flower is a morning glory.

Minazuki has a cheerful, yet somewhat soft-spoken, and highly feminine personality. Her official lines have her as acting somewhat dependent upon her older sister Satsuki, or "Sacchin", and that she's also close to "Fumi-chan", both of which, along with Nagatsuki, were part of DesDiv 22 with the historical Minazuki.

The real-life Minazuki spent the early war as an escort to transports, and the later war as a transport in numerous "Tokyo Express" runs. Outside of once being damaged by an air raid and rescuing crew from a sinking transport, the Minazuki never saw direct combat. The Minazuki was ultimately sunk by the USS Harder on June 2, 1944, during a Tokyo Express mission.
